Last week didn’t go entirely to plan

My son Tom took a fall while snowboarding and fractured his wrist. Initially he was also blacking out too due to the shock and not from a head injury (thank goodness!).

Within minutes, the ski field medics were by his side, calm, composed, and crystal clear in their communication. Soon after, the St John Ambulance team took over with the same level of care and process.
They knew what to do. They knew what to say.
And most importantly, they knew how to make us feel safe and informed in a high-stress situation.

It struck me how powerful a well-rehearsed process and clear communication can be, not just in healthcare, but in sales too. 😊

Buyers often feel uncertain. They’re weighing risk, juggling priorities, and trying to make sense of complex information.
When we, as sales professionals, show up with structure, confidence, and empathy, we earn trust.
When we communicate clearly, anticipate questions, and guide the process, we make the journey easier.

Just like Tom trusted the medics, our buyers trust us when we take the lead and make them feel supported, and not sold to.

A smooth sales process isn’t just about closing the deal.
It’s about making the buyer feel informed, safe, and confident in their decision.

Thanks to the incredible medics on the mountain and in the ambulance, and wishing Tom a speedy recovery!
